Ice.jpg Well the trunk is now out at my friend Lefty's place where it will be split up and sold. Best guess was a cord today, but hard to say. Had to give the flush cut a good yank with the truck to get it off of the stump. I will have to get a picture of the pile here at the house but guessing a total of 2 cords out of this score. I even did some cleanup, something that I don't do very often. Had a few cuts that went through ice pockets, not the best thing for the chain. And the elm continues................

Got 2 loads from another site today. Guessing at least 2 more just in the trunk, but I don't have the time to cut it up. We will see what comes. Load 1 back.jpg Load 1 side.jpg Load 2 back.jpg Load 2 pass side.jpg Trunk.jpg

Nice thing about having a stockpile of big heavy unsplit rounds at your house is once they're on your property the risk of someone else grabbing them is much lower than when left at original location. And they'll be waiting for you safe & sound until you get the time to finish them.
