I'll say again. There is a reason one of the best hand filers out there dont use these. One word again preached by Mike and me to you over and over BAHCO. I give up on ya. Done walking away from thread. Bye.
Must be a reason why the best hotsaw builder and one of the best hand filers in the US prefers Bahco over Viiala. Nuff said BYE! AGAIN look there I even tried them. If you are doing work chains, who cares use them. Faster chains, wellllllllllll nuff said above.
I do use the bahco . in the pic far right which ones are they ? The straight across file . I would like to try those out . along with save edge . and cut4fun I agree with you completely about the bahco files they work nicely.
After work I will get some pics I never get them clear or close enough. If I dO get close enough the pic won't go thru on the site Chris
Here is a round picco chain I did.. This is with the Magnifying glass app and my phone was about 1.5 ft away.
Put a sheet of paper behind the cutters. It will help it focus. Then I can crop on my phone in studio.
skippysphins if you don't want to post pictures then you don't need to. Send pictures through PM and ship some to guys to look at and test. I've done both and received constructive criticism and learned, which helped me improve. Be selective who you choose. There are guys that know there stuff and guys that are arm chair know it all's. Good luck with your search for your files you are after.
Thanks buddy that a pretty good idea sending them to somebody . I have 2 or 3 people I believe would give me a honest opinion s
