As promised here is my video compilation.

    First I needed a victim.

    Done!

It was a big tree, bigger than the 28" bar on the 066. So I had to cut it down some to get to where a 20" bar could cut in a straight pass.

Oops forgot to post up the contenders.

Same chain on all three? Clearly the 372 is much faster, but all three look like strong runners!

Yes, same chain on all three.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well the Meteor cyl. performs on the 044. There are some casting imperfections in the intake and exhaust that I thought might hurt it. But it seems strong for being on the first tank. I still think I will pull it and clean them up and see if I notice a difference.

    Nope. You didn't miss it.

I ran all 3, but didn't record it. I had a friend there to take and record times. I will be doing it again shortly. I will make sure to record the 2171. It has a nasty sound to it!

Remember, the 372 is ported... that will make a big difference in cut times.

Yep, the 046 beat the 372 in stock form. But the 372 was right on its heels. And the 046 I have is a good running saw.

Yes, but the 372 was basically nos when I bought it the 046 was well used but still a strong saw was what I meant. And yes the 046 should beat it if going by displacement.
