Had to finish putting sideboards on my trailer today. Shop wasjust a little too cold at 9am so started a fire in the barrel stove. By noon it was warmer in my shop than in the house. Went into the house to get a cigar and coffee refill and wife was complaining the house was cold. Told she need to come out to shop and help me because it was warmer out there. Didnt go over very well. Enjoyed coffee and cigar with my feet propped up by stove by myself.
markr- those fires will be getting fewer and farther between for sure! Just curious...what kind of cigar??
Hey. Nice work markr. I am more of an introvert myself and need some time to myself. Glad you enjoyed day and those side boards look great. Do you use that trailer for hauling other things besides wood?
I was just going to say where's the pics? Looking good! Didn't want to go higher with the stake sides?
I also haul the tractor its hitched to. Mow the church lot and an elderly ladys yard. Didint want to go to high because I dont wanto overload it. I put the most on the truck and use a 2 wheel dolly and load the trailer with the biggest rounds that way I can usually do it alone.
I dont have a catalog handy but they are the jr house brands that are made by the major rollers . I think the ones I am smoking now are made by rocky patel with a jr cigars band. Probably made from the trimmings but still a damm fine cigar at a reasonable price
I am just starting (again) and only get a craving occasionally. I have been through a few dozen of them and have only found a few I really like. I have not ordered anything from JR but ya never know. The workshop setup with a wood stove and coffee and cigar sounds great.
I really like the jr brands. I like a full bodied cigar and their brand really steps up when it comes to representing the top brands at a price I can afford.
I have never tried a full cigar. I have to stop right around medium... Maybe if I had a good brand, the full would be ok?
