Cut some cookies with it today. I have some trees to take down but couldn't do so today so I cut some cookies and ran about a half tank through it.

I haven't ran it enough to to really form any real solid thoughts on it. I will say the av system dosent impress me any the saw feels no different than any other Stihl saw I have ran. Power so far is good but that's comeing from a 50cc saw to this one. The oiler is cranked yet it don't seem to oil as well as my other two saws.

I have a couple good size trees to drop here very soon so it will get ran quite a bit here soon

This saw takes a bit to run in. It takes quite a few tanks to come into itself.

As for the oil? It should oil fine out to 28" and 32" if needed.

I had a 20 inch bar on but it didn't seems to have much if any oil on it. Power wise it felt fine to me but i have only had 290's up till this point

I have a 24 inch bar for it to. How well does it do with a 28

If it is anything like my 261 it will get stronger and stronger with every tank of gas. Mine has about 6 through it right now and I can still notice it getting stronger with each use.

    YMMV.

Also, you can put a high output oiler in it if you see the need to do so. A buddy of mine put one on his 441 because he felt he wasn't getting adequate oil when he was using a 28" bar.

You can mod your oiler also and save the money for the HO one unless you can talk the dealer into a cheap upgrade.

I ran 28" on my 441 when it was stock and it did just fine. It did ok with the stock oiler but I still upgraded. AV was noticeably better than my 460s were.

I will say the 441 ran better new than my 261 did. Both gained power as they gained time but the translation was not nearly as dramatic for the 441 as it was for my 261.

This is MasterMech 441 after porting but that has nothing to do with the oiler.

This is a 24" x 24" Cant at the May GTG. Very good running saws. I only sold my ported 441 because I had a 460 that was slightly stronger

I got a chance to use the 461 and the 362 felling and bucking a couple of small ash trees yesterday. Still haven't started the 661 yet. The 2 trees I want to try it on are on a hillside and it's just too wet, muddy and slippery for hillside felling.
I have to say the 362 is pretty hot "right out of the box".
