Off to work again today. Removing an old hot water radiator system (cast iron)and installing forced air heating system. Yesterday was piping removal/disposal; saved the anchors for today! Man, are those heavy!!

Junk man will be happy to see us again.
Got up to 50 yesterday and will again today-no water in basement-woo hoo!

Good morning, rain and it might hit 50 today.
I'm gonna' combat water run off today out back, improve on the "gutters" I'm making in the gravel to divert the runoff to where I want it to go. I may or may not haul another ton of gravel, or two,,
20 + years out here and none of this started until they re-paved the streets/alley and built a parking lot on the other side of the block I live on,,it's all good, I have nothing else to do, too wet to cut firewood and I don't have my fishing gear ready!!
    Have a good day. Peace.

I guess my recent boost from 12 to 17 and then to 20 is pretty darn good for the semi rural area I am in.

What a great day, 46 deg and partially sunny. Some great melting going on, I saw my first patch of grass behind the porch today. I can actually see over some of the snowbanks at the ends of the driveways to see out into the road. It's funny to see all the folks that have put mirrors in the snowbanks to see oncoming traffic in order for them to get into the road. Rain tonight and talk of 50 tomorrow, looking forward to it. :)

Yeah, right....that's 6:50-7 am now and I am not the type to jump out of bed and straight out the door. I need that 2 cups of caffeine and some down time to catch up on FHC before I leave at 7:15.

No water in basement; didn't haul out the radiators today! That only moves it to another day, though...
50's again with sunshine and more melting. Tomorrow back in the 40's.
Mt. Dew in hand and raring to go!

Oh yeah, the truck had a coil pak replaced today so I'm running an all 8 once again...feels like a new engine!

Tough driving, but right now, I'd welcome some thick fog to eat away at the snow. Little League baseball will be delayed around here this year. Signups are down and any practice will be indoors for a while to come.

But it will be 50 degrees today

Driving was insane this morning. Maybe 30' of visibility. Got a little lost on a drive I've made hundreds of times because I couldn't see the exit. Spring break crowd was out in full force clogging up the airport.

My day yesterday. No that's not me in the vehicle. I really don't know what possesses people to think they can beat water. Water always wins. More power in water than anything man made I think.

Just got back from a snowshoe trek down in the woods along our property lines. Nice morning. The snow pack is deep but dropping fast and with temps today around 50, it's gonna be mud season before we know it. Even had a few bugs flyin' around in the sun... :zip:
