Not to rehash this again, but after reading on here I had decided on a NC 30 for my first wood stove for my shop and have been waiting on the sale. Myriad looks like as good a stove and my local Menards has it in stock, I've never seen a NC 30 in person, none near me. Give me a reason not to just go to Menards and buy the drolet. NC isn't even on sale yet.

Same situation I was in. I finally saw an NC-30 this summer. I am very happy with the drolet, I was leaning towards it instead of the nc30 anyway.

.3 cu ft larger firebox than the nc30. made in Canada, Stainless steel baffle vs ceramic fiber in Nc.
Note by removing front tube in 30 baffle boards come out -straight through cleaning firebox to top of flue, if ya don't have any offsets that is. I do not know the internals of the drolet.

I chose the Myriad because a) it was on sale right now for a very reasonable price although I had to get it shipped to my Menards (free) and b) I felt like the stainless steel baffle, although not removable would be more durable for my use. Combine that with the great support it's received here and it was a done deal. Like I just said today in another thread; now I'm thinking about selling my Lopi Answer and getting another Myriad to have one on each floor. The only fault with my particular install so far is that I will get smoke spillage if I don't use the bypass. I never had that trouble with the Answer but I suspect it's because the firebox is more than double the size on the Myriad. No big deal just my one gripe, if I had to find one :)
