Chit JT...I have a BIL that drove a fork truck at Ford for 30 years. He would be insulted if you took your tailgate off.

You do want to put the skid all the way up front. No movement and centered.

Seen a few of them white flags stuck in snow banks. I think we all surrender!

I prefer the majority of the weight over the rear axle... Not quite all the way forward. I always strap the load down to prevent movement!

Good likely they couldn't get onto the lot, but they can dump it up by the road, it will take more than a few truck loads to make a small dent in the 30 feet deep or so gully. If you are spending the green stuff have at it.

I like it just in front of the axle so my steering is solid to the ground. I just hate a floating steering feeling:hair: Strapping is wise, very wise:yes: Also depends on the box size, usually all the way to front has most over the axle but then again, I drive a Toyota Landcruiser Pick-up with a short wheelbase:D

That's a lot of snow no matter where you are.

We've had it pretty easy this year. Only around 85 inches. Last year we had 135 inches. That was way, way too much.

We picked up another 4 today before it switched to freezing drizzle. It can be done whenever.

Light snow here for days now. Snow with sunshine sometimes. The snow flakes are small right now, too cold to be big flakes? Only 1-3" forecasted, but just enough to make the roads treacherous.

NICE observation, minimal wind compared to usual over the last few days, all the $$ we spent last summer on remodeling, sealing and insulating has paid off more than I realized. Med/low on the pellet stove is keeping me near 80*, where its med/high during most days here that are windy. :dex::rootintootin::banana:
