Chains, ropes, a come-along, and either my 19 year old nephew or 16 year old nephew. I actually prefer the younger one, he doesn't think he knows it all already so he'll listen to instructions with out me having to raise my voice. The older one, good lord, one day Im gonna break him or my fist. But he has alot more strength than the younger one, so sometimes he is better to have around. He's 6'4" 215 of teenage muscle, comes in handy sometimes.

Some of those kobalt tools have a lifetime warranty, does the hatchet?

Must be hit or miss because I couldn't find my 10" linesman pliers and bought the Kobalt one till I found my normal pair and as a backup. The Kobalt pliers literally didn't last a day. The next time I bought a pair of Channel Locks and the old pliers are the backup now.

1975 JD 110 w/10 HP Kohler.Built like a tank, last model & heaviest of that series @775lbs without mower deck.Plenty of power but can lack traction on these steep slopes when its muddy or wet.I know where all the stumps/ruts are so no need to remove it.Besides its a real PITA & definitely a 2 man job to reinstall it.When there's more than 2-3 inches of snow or ground is extra soft & muddy,it stays in garage & I wait for when its drier or ground freezes solid. That's why I go like mad to get as much done during summer/fall during hot/dry spells.I'll eventually get rear chains for it,but it works pretty good without it most of the time.

I keep my chains on year round on the old MTD 42" and the snow blade. Took the deck off and just use it for pushing snow or wood in the fire pit. It really does the job when burning a lot of brush and rolling big rounds around.

The only good kobalt tools I have found where the ratchets, sockets, wrenches and hammers the rest are not so good. Well except the hatchet.

Just picked up my hay hook from TSC. Like you said Rock, extra long, needs sharpened and the angle changed a little and I can't wait to use it on big rounds.

My two biggest back savers have been the stack of pallets splitter table and the conveyor plank.

I need to get a can't hook to roll logs and move them. I was really impressed with how much leverage they give you.
