You can buy hardwood pellets here by the 20# bag for $8-10 for a pellet smoker. Alder, apple, pecan, oak, mesquite, cherry, maple, hickory and some others. Traeger wants $20 a bag for the same stuff. Pellets burn/smoke better than loose wood sawdust. Just light some off with a propane torch in a carbureted beer can. Also I can just cut some cherry, apple or alder limbs here from my property if I want a good smoke smell in my wood stove or outdoor fire pit. I have some alder stashed for burning in my stove when I want a good smoke smell around my house. I love the smell of alder and it is my favorite for smoking with. Apple is a close second.

There is a guy out here in Ma selling boxes and bottles of snow and shipping it. Some of the proceeds go to charities I was told.

Haaa!!! Those look like the fines that come off the chipper screen. That would be easy enough for a mill to do as they usually saw one species till gone.

I wonder how many returns he'll have?
Can't shake my head enough, on this one. Don't know if it's the guy selling or the people buying.
And then lay on the guilt for a novelty sale by saying some proceeds go to charity? Shees! What's that mean? He'll make a donation after profits?
    Over and out!

It started as a joke and now he is shipping it packed in dry ice. They think the customers are having it shipped to families in warmer climates as gifts to kids that have never seen snow.

Well, yah have to do something with all that snow in Boston. They cannot just shovel it into the Charles River because of all the crap in it. Which leads us back to selling Kansas coal.

Now my internet sites are showing me ads for these stupid Smoker Wood Chips. I have to clear my cookies so it goes back to ads for chainsaws and wood stoves.

That's a great entrepreneur right there. Find a product someone wants buy.... Then let the word of mouth spread how great of a product it is. Then let supply demand take the roll...
