    Working today while the rest of the family visits and prepares for my parents 80th surprise birthday party tonight! Everyone is home. First time in quite a few years. Next week they each turn 80 two days apart from each other. They have been married for 59 years now.

    Soup day today. Two pressure cookers chugging away with leftover turkey carcasses, onions, carrots and celery. Maybe some fresh bread will have to be made if it warms up outside a little.

    Daughters finally got on the road after doing 8 loads of laundry:eek: they got 600 mile ride , weather is clear hopefully no issues ,always concerned about your children no matter how old they are , never stop being a parent:)

    My BIL gave me a plow for my tractor:thumbs:. I had to drive 120 miles round trip to get it which was actually nice on such a cold day:)

    I am going to be in trouble. Wife made a couple plates of deviled eggs to take to pot luck supper tonight. She put them on top of the freezer in the glassed in porch. Then went off to our granddaughter's basketball game. I stayed home to clean the yard. I came in and somehow stuck my hand in couple of her eggs.
    update. She came home while I was typing this. At first she though the dog had done it. Poor dog gets into enough trouble as it is. So I confessed. She just took the plate and said she would fix it. Whew. I thought I was going to catch it.:emb:
