Do the Stihl file guides allow the file to get into the gullet enough? I have an Oregon guide and recently bought a Forester brand because the Oregon one has the flexible clips and they keep coming loose while the Forester one has the knobs for tightening. The Forester guide doesn't let the file go deep enough for my liking.
I like stihl file guides the best. I do buy the ones listed for 404 for 7/32 though and 3/16 5/32 too. Years ago before they went 13/64 for 3/8 they used to be same part number for 7/32 3/8 404. Now 2 separate file guides to sell. I tried save edge guides too. Liked them better then the oregon. But stihl still better on those. JMO
