I use mine to slide/roll rounds. Also use it to stand them up to split.

Here ya go. You must be cutting some HUGE trees if most of your rounds are 30-70 pounds!!! If like to see some pics or video of that!! You must be built like a brick $@#!house.

here you go. I think there is a thread with these pics. Not every tree is this big but enough are. I was beat the noodled round was cause it had to be that way to fit in truck and cause I was beat and could barely lift them anymore. Think I figured that these were 90+ pounds or so. With math I figured using the cuft weight of green oak. Screenshot_2015-02-21-17-16-01.png Screenshot_2015-02-21-17-16-18.png Screenshot_2015-02-21-17-16-34.png

According to this calculator a 24" oak round is 192 pounds per foot.

Thats per cubic foot right? U have to get the area of a cylinder for the round.
Edit: I see you said round per foot.
Maybe that was it? That was a while ago?? I dont remember. 90 does seem light. It was literally all I could do to load my truck. I have to make a little platform out of a round to great on midway.

Every time I post that pic, someone asks me that... We rolled them up a ramp. It still sucked. Even unloading it sucked.

I had some 40+" oak that I got loaded into the dump truck in about 6-8 foot lengths. Was all I could do to flip the rounds and position under the splitter.

    Who needs the gym?
No wonder we all have bad backs at 40!

I got some pics that I'd have to dig up of out old dodge 3/4 ton dragging the bumper. That was a while back though.
