Found this in Traverse City. Was posted 5 days ago. Any takers? I don't have the money, so I'm out, but wanted to put it up. http://nmi.craigslist.org/hsh/4211862347.html
Dayumm. That woulda been perfect, Dave. I hate being in the right place at the wrong time . I must say I've been lucky as far as stoves go .
Agree, nothing attractive about that style. The curves with that kind of metal looks awkward. Good price but I too would pass. Not a good time of year for big expenses anyway.
Yeah, I ran across that a few nights ago. Hoping to find something like that in a few months when I can spend the cash. Not happening right now.
It is a REALLY good price. Just can't do it right now. I've learned from the past, there will be others.
Yeah, if only I had a spare $2k laying around........now where did I put that spare cash..... If I had the money, and it was still available, I'd probably go get it. Like BBar, it ain't happenin' right now. I like to scour CL though, just in case someone is trying to get rid of one like that for a couple hundred. I haven't won the lottery yet, either.
If it was closer? I'd jump all over it. To far and wrong time of year. Just got my Earthquakes in last night and I bought a J-Red last night too Had to have it
Earthquakes = cheap chainsaws sold at Menards and many online retailers, and J-Red = Jonsered chainsaw Earthquakes are cheap. I got 2 new saws for just over $80 (38cc 14" and a 45cc 18"). Hi jack over
My sis-in-law bought an "earthquake" a couple years ago. I scoffed at the thought of the thing. It's a Homeylite. It's actually a decent little 35cc saw. It bogs down when I try to cut a 12" round of Oak, but whatever. Good for limbing and smaller stuff. Lightweight and easy to handle. It just needed a decent chain and a couple minor adjustments. I think it runs a bit hot, and won't restart after I've run it for a bit, until it cools down.
