I saved 15% on my car insurance in 15 minutes!!

What I do know is that when Inferno and other sub par pellets are fetching $260-$280 per ton, and the big dogs are in the $325 plus range, all while oil is 2.49 a gallon, I am dragging the Jotul out of the shed this weekend!

Shortage or no shortage, none of the boxes nearest to me have pellets with the exception of TSC who had a small amount of their brand last weekend. I know of people who don't keep a large stock on hand scrambling to find any.

I think I ate too much popcorn. I don't feel so good.

Or could it have been too much beer? Nah, Maybe I need more beer! That ought to do it! ;)

There aren't any. Closest one is Boston.

Correction: closest one for you is Boston. Closest one for me is Newington.

Thanks!! I couldn't get the location pop up on my phone lol. Not a huge fan of going to Boston unless it's a sporting event.

Same here. No way I would drive that far just to go out to eat. Heck I wouldn't even drive that far for my favorite Lignetics or Bear Mountain pellets. Well, ok if it was PTL softies I would HA HA!

    wall of text there!

I think there is a shortage........I spend all day selling pellets, answering the phones, loading the product, unloading from trucks.....all day, every day, 358 days per year. I burn them as well. While I think that shortages might be somewhat localized, I really only care about the shortages that affect me and my customers. No shortage? Why am I seeing cars from 3 states picking up product? I talk to folks EVERY DAY, who tell me that they cant get product from the Big Boxes, their local stove dealer, the hardware store, and the grocery store....68 TONS sold today, Saturday. So, that little pile of pellets you see, maybe 5-10-15 skids? That lasts 2 hours. Shortage? yea...shortage. How long will it last? God knows....I hope not long.

That leads one to many conclusions. My first one would be private branding the Bear ones.

    Where is that?

My favorite is Morton's. But not because of the steak. They had Truffle fries last time I went

Wow,crazy stuff.I like oakies, they cost too much.Ligs fan for years, guess that is now going to be ruined from purchase. Also will have to worry that quality shall fail.Has anyone asked how many plants oakie owns on the east coast(already).Logic says you cannot ship a low profit product that far and sell it that much cheaper. They already own plants back there and this is just another step forward to almost all pellets going to europe and the rest of the world.I am sorry that ligs got bought, now I cannot trust their quality.
