Add 10-20mph wind to it. Supposed to be setting trusses on a huge house, on the windy side of a decent sized lake.

I would read the thermometer at -40fd and leave for work with the thoughts that this one boss would send me somewhere with heat....at least for that day...nope.
Too many times working in conditions of below zero and wind with the only relief being a luke warm vehicle left running.
He doesn't have the opportunity to send me out in that nonsense any longer. Not worth it.

 

We survived yesterday, only me and the boss showed up. We set up next to the burn barrel and built stairs on the saw horses. Still was very cold.

Had to put my foot down today. -28°F actual air temp at the jobsite. That place is the coldest spot in the county every day.

Boss just called and wants me to go to the inside job for a few hours. It's only a couple miles away, pays cash, and at more $/hour. I guess I'll go make a couple buck today.
