Looking for a top handle little echo preferably with a chain brake but not a deal breaker also a runner or very close to it would be nice! Let me know what ya got Thanks
I got one,but its not for sale. My first saw,Christmas gift from the parental units in 1981,was used all the time climbing/pruning when I was younger.Its a wee beast,barely 8lbs & just 9000RPM or so,but will chew through the toughest White Oak or Hickory with a good chain. Many years ago it was dropped some 25 feet on the grass.Mashed up the sheet metal muffler guard/clutch cover a bit & a few scratches/scrapes but no major damage.Straightened that out with a scrap 2 x 4 block & a hammer.Started right up. Don't get used as much now & may set in the shed for 2-3 months at a time,but is still a super reliable saw that never lets me down. I see them in varying condition on ebay quite often..If this ever dies I'm leaning towards one of their current top handles as a replacement.Though judging by its durability,I'll probably be way past retirement & too old/weak to need it by then.
Traded mine for some loops of chain. Didnt have enough of what I wanted for limbing around the house.
