Good to see you here Hedgerow. Wonder how many of our other friends from the Midwest forum are here?
+1 on the Ford. My f250 pulls a pu bed trailer from a Chevy. Wonder what happened to the rest of it? :p Actually, I have a Dodge and a little Nissan too. My first truck was a mean 77 GMC Jimmy. If it's a truck, I like it.:D

    Would probably work too.

I like a hot method because I think the heat helps anneal the work hardened steel a bit. Could be all in my head though...

If you bought the saw I think you bought, from the guy I'm thinking of. You should watch him, shady at best.

If Slick Willy Clinton hadn't gotten elected and asked Al Gore to be his VP, we might not have had the innernet! I guess you could say that could have went wrong! :D

Hey Donnie, if ya don't have one, my suggestion for your next useful tool (I've been called that) is a hookaroon (or pickaroon as some call it).
Stihl makes a nice one, but mine's an old hand me down from my dad, like this: Screenshot_2015-02-21-07-46-40-1.png
Your back will thank you. Arms, not so much but you can sleep with sore arms.

Yeah it's a lifesaver. After cutting, limbing, etc. I'm in no shape to bend down fifty times picking up rounds. It's really nice to pick up splits without having to keep bending over-anything to save the lower back.

I got no problem working hard but the older I get the more I try to work smarter. I never know when to quit but lately my back tells me when it's time:(

Those pickaroons can pick up rounds? Most of what I lift is usually 30-70 pounds. I dont see how I could sink it far enough in let alone lift it off ground to wheelbarrow?

Maybe I need to go look at youtube!!???
