Hey guys, Picked up a MS391 about a year ago and flipped it. Came with extra chains and I've been holding onto to them thinking I'd eventually have a use for them, but I'm running all 20" loops of 3/8 .050 on my bigger saws. All three loops are yellow rs chain. Two loops are essentially brand new - they may have had a couple cuts, since the yellow mark is a little warn, but all in all they look new. Third has been used - lots of life left, but as the photos show, has wear compared to the first two. I just bought a bar/chain from HoneyFuzz - I'm really looking to turn these into 18" loops of 0.325 .058 72dl chain - if anyone had extras of this chain size and wanted to do a trade, I'd be happy to talk first about that. Any cash would go toward buying loops of this size - I'm thinking $30 + shipping - I should be able to fit all three chains in a small flat rate box - so about $6 for shipping. This would be $36 for two essentially new loops and one with lots of life left and in good condition - or about $14/loop for the new loops and $8 for the used loop. I thought this was pretty fair but we'll see! Let me know if you are interested - again, a trade of loops if you have extra 18's of the specs I mentioned would be great - we could just ship each other the chains as trade. Lastly, if you buy these chains and they are less than what you expected, I'll refund all your payment and also the shipping to send them back. Thanks.
No bites, will have to list on the bay and see what happens, but thought I'd try once more! Anyone interested in these chains for $30 including shipping - I think I can fit in a small flat rate box. Cheers!
