The other day some commented I had too much weight on the trailer. So I got a bigger one. The wood came from here. http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/where-my-firewood-comes-from.10437/
Some of the chunks are pretty good sized for a little old retired guy, (with some pretty good sized saws).
Nice looking grapple loader and truck. Cool idea with what looks like a demo dumpster. I can just imagine the 10 wheeler squatting when that rolls on loaded with wood pieces. Nice idea. Decent looking load of 'warmness'.
Well I'll see how it goes as the boys will be here all next week. I hope to get another load like this one while the getting is good.
Isn't retired when we finally get to do all the things we wanted to do but didn't have the time. No sitting around for me. Nice loads grab it while you can.
At the golf course one of the gals asked me one day, "How can you retired guys be smiling, laughing and be in such good moods every single day". I told her, "You'd be in a good mood too if you only did what you wanted and never did anything you didn't want to". She then said, "You suck".
Wish I was close by, I'd come help. Something about a day of hard work in the cold with a saw and good company.
Couple of my retired co workers are mowing lawns at golf courses this summer. Asked why. Their answer up early get to sit on my butt and get paid but mostly free golf.
FANTASTIC! I retire the 27th. Hope it goes as well for me as it is for you. That setup you have there is wonderful.
Well come April I will have been retired 5 years. I consider myself an "expert" on the subject. Will gladly give advice on how to hoard chainsaws, hustle golf & pool games and raise apples.
