I just read a story about this and a Ford dealership gave him a brand new car and the college student who started the fund raising has over $300,000. o_O:thumbs: The guy is a standout example for all. If only more people had his work ethic. Think of what the human race might be able to accomplish to make things better.

Now I wish they'd do a good follow-up so we'd know where all that money went? It is amazing that much money was raised so fast. As for the man, he has my vote.

Like Gas, I saw this story on the local news not too long ago...what a great story about a very humbled man just trying to do his thing. I'm glad the way it worked out

I saw this on Facebook earlier in the week and it's a fantastic story. I'm glad to see the man got out of that city after being pushed around for money. Can you believe the gall of some people?

I'm very happy for this man, he deserved those gifts! And I'm very glad to see so many donate to a good cause. Thanks for sharing DB, I hope you're feeling better!
