Happy turkey day to my extended fam and friends. Been smoking a ham on hickory since 5am. Pecan smoked pork ribs are next up... Anyone else preparing a wood fired meal or the hoarders use gas on the holidays?
Happy Thanksgiving and remember to take a nap after all that turkey. I've already sampled some food. It was payment for vacuuming up the place before company arrives.
That's awesome!! My wife had to bring the pies to my parents house yesterday (where we are having dinner today) so I wouldn't do any quality tests before turkey day!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and do not eat to much! I know I always need to loosen the belt a few notches after dinner. Everyone will be here at 12, and I have already sampled the stuffing!
The cook or the cooks helper should ALWAYS sample the grub.... For umm...... Quality purposes... Ya thats it..

Drove downstate yesterday, had T-day, hung out playing with the kids, got up and got myself coffeenated this morning, then we got back on the road @12:15. Got home @ 4:30. Puppies were glad to see us (My nephew was kind enough to dog sit overnight). Wife is staying down there for a couple days to play and see her sister on Sunday.
