stihl saws not my top pick for one reason someone explain this to me?

    High idle on a stihl is not wide open. Maybe like half throttle.

    You can get the manual for your saw offline for free. I think its like the law or something that they provide it for things like saws

    Dont do what your buddies do then. Your in the right place to learn. If your buddies keep that practice up they will be asking to use your saws eventually. Do yourself a favor and dont let them just my opinion

    More Germans around here than Scandinavians. I guess?
    For my family, stihls have been really good. Never owned a husky, and when we got the 029, it was between that and the husky rancher, 455 iirc. There are more stihl dealers here too, although that's never been an issue. My next saw might be an echo.
