If videos similar to these; but with injuries, ever surface........................mark my words...........................some schmuck lawyer will attempt to sue the saw manufacturer, the place the sold him the saw, the gas station the sold him the gasoline, the place where he bought his 2 stroke oil and his bar oil, the place that he bought his beer (there was a "can" in the one video), etc.!!!!!!

Ignorance is bliss..................but stupidity is rampant!!!!

    Rant off!!!

I really like when they bring in lumber jack john in with his bigger saw. I noticed it wasnt running up to par.
I couldnt imagine with such a pro I would think his saw is in tip top shape performamce wise.
I bet thats why he switched to the poulan he wanted to demonstrate how accomplished of a cutter he really is with any saw.

Prob one of those who cleans his saw once a year if any any and runs regular 87 octane through it and stores it with gas in it till a big job comes up

More or less a quote: "Tree didn't have any right falling that way...although it was leaning that way.." The thing that is most amazing to me about that second video is the total lack of concern for the possible consequences. Taking the tree down is an adventure for him. Forget his family standing there (trying to push the tree back...sorry, I have to laugh....), forget the power lines coming down and possible consequences of that, forget the people driving by who could get killed..... I can't stand inconsiderate self centered people. "I'm doing it because I want to, and I don't even need to dream about considering how my actions effect others. Seems to be the way a huge percentage of people think nowadays....maybe always was so?

I want to know why contact with what looks like a primary above, didn't smoke the tree, the guy, the ladder, etc. I drove by a tree decades ago that had blown against a primary during a storm. It was burning on top and smoking at the base.
I wanted to give it a hug... but decided it might be better not to... ;)

You're absolutely correct! How 'bout we make 'em graduates of the Jethro Bobine School for Arborists?

Dry tree is all I can say. Might have knocked the feeder out, but that tree came over easy so maybe not. Bet that bill was more expensive than just hiring someone to cut it down.

This is what happens when we try to 'child proof' the world.

May sound harsh but that kid who was prevented from sticking a fork in an outlet at 4 years old grows up and at sixteen ends up killing himself and the four passengers in his car on the highway.

Delaying Darwin only makes the inevitable result that much more spectacular...

I was amused by this. Icing on the cake would've been one of 'em asking another, seriously...- "How many times will you vote for Hillary?"
Sorry, I just had to.

I lived through the fork, except as I recall it was some other piece of I found. I remember the arc and the lights going out and my mother wondering what happened. I don't remember getting shocked.

My brother stuck a screwdriver in an outlet when he was about four. He though his sister had hit him over the head with a hammer. His resultant reaction to her treatment of him was something she'll never forget....
