I am starting to see a pattern here,
The wood is "free", it is all the accessories you need to burn it that adds up

Don't need one necessarily just think it will keep the dust down and make ash clean up a little faster.

Sounds like you need to review BackwoodSavage's primer on woodburning! He relates a story about having to clean up ashes as a kid, and discusses proper ash shoveling technique. The trick is, you let the ashes slide off of the shovel, instead of dumping them into the bucket. You'll get zero ash dust if it's not "splashing" into the bucket.

Can't take all the credit a buddy of mine bent the main part and welded it. He's got more skills and tools than me. I can't weld nearly as good as he does. Only spent about $10 on it and thats cause I did not feel like digging in 100 coffee cans to find 2 little hinges, and did not have enough metal for the front.
My kids pull it around mostly. I fill them up once in a while but not often. When I used it it got the snot beat out of it. I was suprised the amount of weight it would hold for the cheapest model.
