The other day I joked about the snow pile in front of my house being so high that I could stand on it and hang laundry from the telephone wires. I just wanted a picture to remind us of how much snow we had this winter. That pile is about 8'-9' above the road.
Here is my Weber grill on the patio. The chiminea, with its' stack is also on the patio. There is a 3 foot stack of oak and my raspberry patch. One plant is barely sticking out.
I still have twelve feet more to the power lines. I figure two more weeks of snow storms and I'm there.
From what I hear teacher contracts end the school year on June 30th. I'm not sure how they will make the 180 day rule.
I think that'll go over like a turd in a punch bowl. Folks have trips to warm places lined up for Feb and April vacations. I say call it good and move on. We have no control on what is happening. It is just an exceptional year.
I guess I better not mention that Campinspecter has been cutting our lawn a couple times since Christmas.
