Looked out this morning and saw some activity at the neighbors that live a quarter mile away. Little while later I saw a trailer full of logs out on the road. Got my butt down there right quick and asked if they needed a dump site. As long as I took the main trunk they was more than happy to bring it up.
    Whole lotta hackberry!

It's pretty hollow. That why they had it taken down.

Well to be totally honest, getting it dumped in my yard was the easy part. Still about 50 yards away thru the snow to my spitting area. I'm kinda jazzed cuz this is my first score of this kind. Normally I drive 20 miles to my wood cutting site, dump the trees and then move the brush outta the way by hand so the guy that rents the farm ground don't have to deal with it. Well, I don't know why I'm sittin here. I best far up a saw, find my bolt cutters for that cable, and get at it. They are calling for a "Wintery mix" here tomorrow.

Seeing that cable is good. But just think if it had grown in and you couldn't see it. That would have been really nasty. Good for you taking that trash away from the neighbor.
