Yeah, we got snow, but southern Milwaukee got nailed, and you folks got blasted. I love snow, but glad we didn't get more, as I need to get into the woods to cut more. 8-10" I can walk in and deal with. Much more, not so much.
Iirc, you got dumped on with 16+” in one storm. At that point in the year, before this storm hit, Amarillo had more snow than Milwaukee saw all season to date. Our news channels pounded that into our heads, which is why I knew that.
I lived in Amarillo in the late '80's for 1.5 years. Saw almost 2 full Winters. Had a 16-18" blizzard the first Winter I was there, and it shut the town down for almost 3 days as they had almost no snow removal equipment. However; 4 days after the snow, it was almost 70*F, melted the snow, and there was flooding all over town!!
Same here. We had more snow for the month of February by February 2 than we had for the entire month of January...and it's snowed every day since.
We are supposed to get just a little here, with a bit more up north. We'd gladly take more of your snow up in northern Wisconsin so you wouldn't get more. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that.
They figured you Canadians need something to do up there XXL. You can't play hockey all the time ya know!
Sorry for the delayed reply...been out shoveling all morning. It's great having a 15 year old son around to help Yup haven't played a game since early January. Was playing 4-5 times a week before I tore my rotator cuff. Not while playing but while coaching my son's team and not even in a cool way....I fell through the door in the boards Getting an MRI this week to see to extent of the damage but doc thinks it's completely torn. I want to get it fixed ASAP or at least before golf and X27 season Sucks getting
