Afraid I'm at the point I have certain scenes memorized.....though I do mix up what movie they are actually from Think Clint Eastwood and Robert Duvall are my favorites, though I am partial to the Michael Landon JR Christian series.
I'd love to list all my favorites but I only know them by scenes.... Darling dear husband understands by scene description
I know where you're coming from WW. When you start quoting the script before the actors get a chance to recite them...really used to jerk 99's chain. Then she started the same thing! And pretty good at it, too!
two of the best centennial is a commitment in time but the beginning is the best , always wanted to be a trapper as a kid , grew up became one and this messed up state banned it
You hit the nail right on the head about the first part of Centennial, Unclefess. It seems that every year about this time, 99 says something like "Well, we can start watching Jacque anytime now". I had recorded the series on VHS back in the 90's and introduced her to it about 15 years ago. Probably due to the lack of quality she didn't like it. Ordered the DVD's and she was hooked! We started last week and are on Disc 4 now. After Jermiah Johnson was shown at the local theatre, many guys aspired to be "mountain men" also! They just had to settle for being a Yoopers though! Which brings up the final point-With Massachusetts craziness, I hear there are other states now accepting new residents...... I know I couldn't take living there.
I own every Clint Eastwood spaghetti western ever made, as well as almost every western movie he starred in on DVD......and wifey bought me the Dirty Harry DVD combo for Christmas. I also have Jeremiah Johnson, The Last of The Mohicans, The Patriot, Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, Dances with Wolves, on and on. And I've watched them all dozens of times.... This is the perfect time of year for those movies!
That's a great movie.....he and Morgan Freeman did a fantastic job in that movie. When he shoots the bartender.......priceless....
