Husqvarna 359 with an OEM 357xp cylinder and piston. I don't know too much about it because I bought this when I thought I needed it but I already had a 562xp. CAD? Anyhow, i got in over my head cause it came with a bad p/c and I didn't know prior to purchase so I bought a lightly used 357xp p/c and installed. Compression - can't test as my gauge went bad. It was at 120 before I installed the new cylinder and can tell it is much better than it was. Has one broken clip that holds down air cover but it still works, it just doesn't stay affixed to the cover when you undo it.
id sell the 562 instead if I was in your shoes.... matter of fact I was- picked up a brand new 562xpw and two 359s (one nos/ one rebuilt) from Randy couple years back. Sold the 562 within a week. The 359s never hesitated when the throttle was hit.
bryanr2 Thanks for the uplifting spirited comment!! I just have to get a few things gone and money in it`s place right now. Next up will be a VERY nice running 028 super and an 038 MAG II - Both just went through a Stihl mechanic for tune-ups .
all Im saying is.... Ive sold a bunch of saws, and my nos 359 is right near the top of ones I regret selling. That said, Ive sold a bunch that I shouldnt have, bc of a need not a want.
