Thought about calling in, But the wife gave me the evil eye. "You'll complain in good weather that you wasted this one"! She said and She's right(as usual). Off to work I went.

Got to work and its a ghost town, Many didn't bother. I'm gonna be bored today!!

New snow blower arrives around 4 this afternoon ready to rumble.

15 minutes on the phone this morning and it was a done deal with the parts needed to repair the old one on order so I have a backup.

Driveway is clear enough to get the car out if needed as well.

    Merry Christmas!!

At the store, walks plowed in so I shoveled out, no deliveries so stock is low. But already have had several customers. They must not have properly stocked the essentials!!! More snow Friday and Monday. Where do you put it????????o_O

An Ariens deluxe 28+, the 1027 I had worked just fine so I'll stick to their line. I also have the parts on order to fix the 1027 which will become my backup machine and I can move the old Toro 524 along to a new homeowner (it is only close to 40 years young). It just can't handle the size of the area I have to keep clean in a reasonable amount of time. I didn't even attempt to use it last night.

I have an Ariens but I don't think it was made in Wisconsin. Hopefully some if it was but I think the engine may be from overseas, LCT 208cc. Runs perfect, great machine!!

I had a 524 for 25 years.I beat the hell out of it and it never let me down. The only problem was it didn't have enough power. Finally gave it to someone at work and it still runs great. They don't build em like that anymore.

Yup I got the snow blower fixed. First year with one, as my brother in law gave it to me. I never worked on one so It was a little trial and error, but it is back together and working great!

Assembled here with global parts. :D

I have a few Chinese engines in my fleet. No complaints so far... They do not like ethanol, like most small engines.
