Today was the first time this winter that the roads had ice and snow. On the drive home, there were an unusual number of slide-offs and accidents. Happens every year until those drivers start using winter driving caution, normally about two or three weeks.
It started snowing after dinner, nothing big but it only will get worse. The third picture is one of our sledding destinations this winter.
I wish I was capable of doing things like that. I'm not sure what the trails will be like by the middle or the end of this week, but if we get another 5 inches of snow I'll be back in on our property.
We have plenty of snow to ride. The trails open on the 18th here. They are talking rain Friday. I am still waiting for my club to send me my voucher so I can register my sled. I will ride without my registration if I have to.
A couple of days ago they said it was going to be 50 this coming Friday, now they are saying 40 so as you say it can change.
That's for sure. I think this picture is from today, this is just down the road from our property. Our property line is just through the woods.
