That is THE best deal on that stuff!!
Depending on shipping charges, that's the kit to buy.
I would imagine the chaps will be hot in the summer, but who cuts wood in the summer anyway? Supposed to fish in the summer and cut wood in the spring/fall right?

Only summer cutting I do is storm cleanup or helping a friend/neighbor. But I'm no pro just a firewood hack lol

I hear that! I go fresh and salt water fishing all the time here.. Shipping is $9.99 for saver shipping and shouldn't be taxed so not a bad deal.. I have some birthday money so that might be what I get.. They have size options but they don't explain what medium, large XXL etc. mean so I need more info to order what I need.. I am short with around 36" waist so medium "might" be the right size for me..

Open them all the way up and wrap around twice. Don't ask how I know.

I'm 6' and the "long" size is perfect. The "regular" is what you want. Those are the only two sizes that I know of. Regular is for 5'4" to 6'. Long is for 6' to 6'4.

You can also fold them down a couple inches and snap them to shorten them if needed.
Regular measure 36" overall, long measure 40". Overall, not inseam.

I like the fact that they cover my boots and keep the chips out. Those little suckers don't feel good poking yer ankles lol.

Don't worry about waist, they adjust great and the buckles are very stout. Hope this helps.

This was last week, by the way.
So don't feel too bad Ralphie.

If I see them on sale again I'll try to post it up.

So Saturday I tried my new chainsaw chaps out that I just got from Menard's. They helped keep my pants dry in the snow, especially in the knee area, and they kept chips off my boots. Their real purpose was not tested. I'll keep it that way. I got the xl as I am 6'4”. They seem to fit fine.

One issue I had was that the waist belt clasp kept loosening over the course of a number of hours. So they fell to my knees a couple times. I'm sure I can figure out a way to lock it so that webbing doesn't slip from the he bulckle. Anyone else have that issue?

Set them where you want them then apply a couple wraps of electrical tape to the buckle adjustment to hold the webbing.

I wear mine all year. Pants do get a little sweaty but no big deal.

I have about a 10 year old pair of blue husqvarna chaps from northern tool and the buckles are on backwards??? I have never taken the time to turn them around. I think they do it to keep the buckles right or something they dont adjust easy as they have them.

I cut all year. I actually cut quite a few times a year when its 90-95F plus. I get strange looks riding around in SC in august with a truck and trailer full of wood.

I think you double it back all funky looking. O know the straps on my husky chaps are all strange looking. I would never fix them like they are but they came that way

To be honest, I just threw them on, cinched them up, and cut wood. ;) You're probably right.

I'll take another look at them when I have a chance.
