    5 to 8 Monday night, 12+ Tuesday, 1-3 Tuesday night in my book that is close enough to 2 feet for plowing purposes.

    Nice, they are a must have IMHO. I don't have any fancy set up. Just a three prong 30 amp cord right off the Genny hich I then run more extensions to what I need to power. My requirments are low and power outages infrequent, so it works for me.

    Agreed!!! I just power up the stove and fridge and such....I consider it cheap insurance.

    Power outages are so infrequent here I don't even own a genny... I think theres been 2 maybe 3 in the 15 years I've been here. When it does happen its usually just a few hours.

    Pretty much how it's always been for me. This is the first place I have ever worked that does this. They will actually pay you if you are late when it's bad in the morning.
