Well, we definitely don't have snow. Last couple of days it has been 10 - 12 C (50 to 53F) with lots of rain. Last night it just poured. We were suppose to get 100 mm which is almost 4 inches. I don't know if we got all of it but starting about 7:30 last night to about 6:00 this morning, it really was raining. I think this will be an in-day unless it drys out a bit.

I have book work to do so hopefully FHC will be quiet so I won't be constantly checking it. Probably will anyway. My Sunday addiction.

I can only handle one cup of coffee a day. Extra doesn't wake me up any extra and makes my skin crawl. One cup is just right.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be an interesting travel day. Could be fun...or a nightmare. There's a fine line separating adventure from suckage...

We were getting sleet/snow when we left for the airport. Sitting in Houston waiting for our next flight.

Took a few pictures of my wood stacks to show anyone who is interested.

Oddly enough the flight attendant did not want to see my wood. :(

Means that she is going to hang up her "open for business" sign soon. Comes from when signs were painted on shingles and hung up outside to indicate the business.

    Idioms and Phrases with shingleExpand
    hang out one's shingle
Open an office, especially a professional practice, as in Bill's renting that office and hanging out his shingle next month. This American colloquialism dates from the first half of the 1800s, when at first lawyers, and later also doctors and business concerns, used shingles for signboards.
