    I've been slacking on the wood pile, spending took much time in the shop that is heated by WOOD. :thumbs: DSCN4085.JPG DSCN4087.JPG Radiant floor heat is the way to go. Spent some of yesterday & today "doin wood". I don't know why, but for some reason, I sure enjoy your dumb pics, so here's some of my dumb pics, I took 'em just for you:D

    Looks kinda slick on your path there. Might need to invest in a set of chains for your hooves so you don't slip.

    :cheers: Look close, there's a dozen sheet metal screws in that boot! Still had to be careful, especially on the sawdust.

    Great idea! :yes: I bought some slip on ice cleat soles several years ago but have never taken them out of the package:rolleyes:

    Now that ya point it out I see them. I have a set of elastic black slip over cleats that work great. Do you notice the screws pulling cold up into the soles of the boot?

    Started laughing as soon as I saw the pics of your soles! Hey, ya can't argue with success! I wonder what your wife would have thought if she showed up while you were using the drill putting screws into the bottoms of your boots!

    Do you have/use a boiler or do you just buck wood like in Euro land, double length and then cut it in 1/2 later? Those bucked piece look 3' long ?
