Good morning it's a cool 30 degrees and no chance of crumby weather 'til Sunday. I hauled 2300 pounds of gravel home yesterday in me trusty truck, I might need more.

I dunno! Do they measure gravel in yards?,,I know cement is measured by the yard,,lemme see,,6' x 10' x 4 or 6 inches deep is about a yard of cement,,it's been a while, is that how to measure gravel?
I know the big fat headed guy at the scales gets a kick out of me rollin' thru the in the Great White Hope,,the old 1/2 ton truck is a beat, bent, bruised and rusted wreck. In years past you could get out of the truck and signal them when to quit loading you,, I'd have them load me until the front tires were hanging in the air!!

Brought in my 2nd loads, filling both bins 2/3 up this morning. The bin boxes seem to be holding up OK. The oak and maple, taken off the stump in 2012 (processed fall 2013) is still a little wet. Helps a little sitting in the bins near the stove after a week. Cold this morning but enjoyable moving firewood. Here's proof...

Isn't that sad CG? Pathetic really. You can see the depth... after hot water rains then freezes... maybe 2"-4" with lots of bare ground. Snowsled nightmares. Luckily up north, the ski areas and sled trails have a little more. Not much tho.

That's to bad. Your supposed to have snow so I can look at the pretty pictures.:)

Nothing but a muddy mess down here. I thought I could run and feed up the road before the ground thawed this morning. No such luck.

The weather started out with freezing rain here. Something we hardly ever get! Right now, the sun is just a blazing and melting all the hard-pack that is on the side streets...into slush and water. If this keeps up, we'll have a mess for sure.

Stinny, you got about as much snow as we do here just north of Milwaukee. Luckily there's snow up north for snowmobiling, but there's not a lot there either, until you get right by lake Superior.

Here's what my backyard looks like now. Although a clipper is going to go through and drop 2-3" sat night into Sunday night. So, off to cut tomorrow, while I can after I pick up my freshly shop sharpened chain.

Yep, 'sposed to git a little snow here Sat too. 3"... :picard: All that does is hide ice, that allows me to show off my world class screaming squirm wigglin' back snappin' flip... just before I hit the ground... There's usually a fair amount of noise after too.
