What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Well, that went as expected. 1st day retired, and I'm wide awake @ 5 a.m....... Obviously this is gonna take some time to re-program.

 

Best time of the day, no? Looks like you have a cool temp this a.m. also.

 

Get used to it and just enjoy the mornings. Your internal clock may stay with you for the rest of your life. Mine has. I'm wide awake between 4-5 AM every day. My fav time of the day.

I'm awake at that time of the day anyways, working the overnites. So even on my days off and I'm home I'm up at 5. I go to the gym and go to construction. I'm sure the same thing will happen to me when I leave the night job too. Problem is I'm in bed by 8:30-9 when I;m home. No social life at all

 

Social life??? Ohhhhhhh, you mean FHC... This IS my social life...

 

Yeah, I've adjusted a little, but still get up between 6:30 and 8.
Usually wake up earlier, notice it's still dark thirty, and go back to bed.
Unintentional afternoon naps are a more common occurrence now.

Good morning, mid 30's and warming up a little. It may or may not rain/snow,,snow/rain,,it could clear up for a while,,the noaa certainly didn't want to commit to a definitive forecast today.
Sharpened a few chains last night, my neighbor from down the street wouldn't believe me last night that it's too soggy to tackle a big mulberry on the edge of his pasture,,getting his old tractor buried to the axles is not how I want to spend my day!! I could be wrong, lets hope I don't hear from him!!

 

Yeah, she is cool here this morning. The sun Is out and not a cloud in the sky. Got both stoves rolling along. Supposed to warm up to about 10 or 15 later.

 

Yeah Stinny, I have to admit it is a good time of the day. Ventured into town to have morning coffee with a group of lads who meet every morning. Already got hit up by one of them who has his own paving business to come run heavy equipment for him this summer. Have a feeling I won't be wanting for things to occupy my time. Everybody always says that when they retire, they had no idea how they had time to work.............

 

I like my job and I like to work, but I look forward to retirement (12 years )
I want to do what I want, when I want.

 

I'm picking up texturizing paste today.

Lol....just adding some estrogen to the mix.
