I'm at home and I can't even think about anything harder than a mtn dew. But then again, if I had cut a load of wood, or something physical I'd be drinking a beer or 3 by now.

Vanilla rum and coke is another favorite of mine. Whaler's is the best value rum I've had.

I'll have to buy some for 99 and have her try that! Sounds like something she may like. Vanilla rum, huh?

Heading out to dinner with my wife tonight. I'm sure I'll have a beer or two with Dinner.
Leaning towards a Sam Adams winter lager. Might decide differently when I get there.

I looked at another store for the Ezra brooks bourbon. They didn't have it either, but used to carry it-years ago. Said they would order it. So, now I have to get it, right?

That's usual for me too. I'm just in between my last job and my new one, and I pretty much did nothing today. :)

Yeah, there's several brands of vanilla rum that you can get here in Sconnie, so you should be able to get it a few hours north of here. Ron Diaz, Ron Rico, Admiral Nelson are the cheaper ones, 12-15 dollars for a 1.75 liter. It's nice to have on hand. But that Whaler's brand is the best and the only one to use if you make a rum cake.
