Don't know if this has been attempted or not; here goes. Post anything that you have won or found that is of value...something unexpected?
About ten years ago, I won a pair of tickets for the Packers! I gave the back....honest!
Found a $100 bill in Menards once. Man did that come in handy! I did ask if anyone had reported anything lost or missing before I left the store, though...."Why, did you find something??" they asked.
Lets hear about your good luck.

Wife won a week long trip to Peter Island in the BVI for us. Flew down on the corporate jet. I won 500.00 in a 50/50 raffle that I donated back to the group.

They had a basket bingo for my mom when she found out she had cancer. I won a pretty cool picnic basket. One of those expensive ones. Yea I'm a guy cut me some slack it was for my momma.

Found $20 one time while picking up aluminum cans. Hey its free money.

Found $100 walking into a ymca once. I felt bad and was actually hoping to hear someone say they lost money.

I won a trip to Jamaica one time a long time ago! I couldn't believe it. Never won anything before. It was an all expense paid trip to an all inclusive resort! They had two beaches, one for clothes and one for not! o_O I stayed on the clothed one thank you very much! We sat in these little Jacuzzi type things and you could push a button and the waiter/waitress would come over and get you a drink. Smokes were free! And I smoked at the time. :emb: Let me tell you there was some drinkin and smokin goin on that week! :drunk:It took me a week to recover from that trip. :doh:Good thing I was 20 years younger then.

Years ago we bought a dryer, on the way home we stopped and got groceries. I bought a 5$ scratch off ticket and won $500. That paid for the dryer and the groceries.

When we were cleaning everything out of the old farm, we eventually got up to the main attic. There was a lotta mice crap and shredded blankets, old magazines, etc. It was quite a mess up there. In an old drawer, tucked out of sight in a corner, I found the bundles of diaries my great great grandfather and his son wrote from the mid 1800s. I'd heard all my life that they were somewhere, but no one ever knew where. They were pulled out, cleaned up, looked them all over for months, slid them into Ziploc bags and stored in a decent old trunk we found up there too... now, in our basement here. Amazing world they lived in.

I won wedding luxuries in a drawing, we were both starving college kids. We had planned a wedding at our home (800 sq ft cabin) with potluck reception and home made cake. I was to attend a wedding showcase with drawings at the end with my mother......she forgot and went water skiing instead....Go to all the booths, get your card stamped, and turn it in, drawing after fashion show. Hubby convinced me to go by myself though it was humiliating (no hard feelings there  ) . Fashion show lasted too long at the end and many people left. After 5 failed drawings for separate prizes at the end, they threw ALL the prizes together and called my name! Professional limo, cake, china, and discounts/gift certs for other stuff!

I found a multi tool.....However there is a little back story to it. I lost a multi tool, set it on the tool box on my pickup forgot and drove off. About 9 months later I am going down a gravel road and see something sparkle. Stopped to see what it is and low and behold it is my multi tool. Had some scars on it from when the road maintainer went over it and pushed it to the shoulder but it still worked!

Some of the guys I work with give me a hard time because I pick up all the change I see no matter the denomination. It's free I figure. Plus I always look down and have found a case pocket knife and other cool stuff because of it.

Pallet Pete I found a Maglite too. Was driving and saw it in the road. Also found a pair of channel locks, a big crescent wrench, a Gerber knife and a chain binder.

Had a full tool box slide off the crane truck (steel deck) turning into a busy intersection... before we could get turned around and get back to it, some guy had "found" it and driven off... :headbang: Unfortunately for him, someone else had "found" the numbers on his license and turned him in. Then, we "found" all of our tools again... :rootintootin:
