A little rot in the middle of one, but I went up about 18" and cut it and the rest up is good. Some good logs 8.5-10.5 long. And three loads like this out today. Only had half a day today, but it was gooder!
I cut one like that today. Was surprised that it was not all dry. I didn't get it finished but at least it is down and partially cut up. Won't take long to finish the task.
In the first post in the thread you can see my new back up saw. I purchased a used Earthquake from Pallet Pete and got a chance to use it today. Good little saw for liming and will be my back up saw in case I was to get my New Echo CS 680 stuck. Not that I would ever do that or anything. Pete I bought two new Stihl chains for it and it is slicing nicely through the Ash and Pine. I used it today for a good bit of liming, then turned to the 680 for the larger stuff. I took the chain off the 680 I had on their for a while, it was getting pretty dull. I put a new full chisel on it. Tearin chit up!
Oilmatic chains are da bomb! I run my echo with them and that puppy tears it up hard core. Glad you like them..
