Rounded out my stash with 15 bags of these as I was poking around Lowes this morning. Never burned them but I believe the reviews have been generally good. I promise a review at least as thorough as my AWF review I posted last week
Yeah, I think those have gotten pretty good reviews in the past. I actually thought they might have closed, I don't remember reading anything on them last season.
I bought a ton two seasons ago… picked 'em up @ the mill in Indiana. Pretty good… a little more ash than I get from the Doug firs but they were priced right.
Soooo....my long awaited review!! Heats good, burn pot stays clean, no clinkers But these pellets are ASHY....for a little perspective Green Supremes and MWP can go about 6-7 bags before I need to clean.....these.....less than four
SIH uses their sawdust from their lumber mill for their raw materials. All oak and maple from what I remember when at the mill.
Yeah I am shocked they have so much ash....they must not clear all the bark. They are the ashiest pellet I have ever burned. The weird thing is they burn great. Flame is very consistent, pellet size is very consisitent
