Ethanol is for putting saw shop owners kids through college. Its not going in any of my 2 stroke engines.
I would run a gallon or so into your vehicle before you pump it into the gas can to avoid that chance. Where I get my 90 Efree, it's on its own hose. I just started using it about 3 months ago, didn't know that particular station had it until recently. It's nice not having to worry too much about my saw mix now. Before, I was doing a lot of guessing and dumping saws out after setting for a while. Granted, the fuel still got used. Most the time it got put in the lawn mower or quad. Still was a PITA now that I look back.
Agreed. I ran a few tanks when it first came out and saw ran like chit. Glad to pay the extra for non and no worries.
I have been told that it takes about 3 gallons to totally clean the E gas out. I do not like E gas in 2 strokes plus it reduces mileage and can pull moisture out of the air.
Iam able to get 90 non ethanol. I run it in everything from the 2 stroking 4wheeler snowmobiles saws lawnmowers.
I think it just switches at the hose end and each tank has a different main line. You can drain the line by opening the handle before you lump then turn it on and you should get all e free fuel from the valve to you. Least this is how I think it works. Not sure I would be running LL in a saw where I am so close to the exhaust!
