    Wait, you only made one?
Guess you'll only get the small half after you send me the larger half.:D:dancer:

My "No-knead" didn't rise well enough for my taste a couple days ago, so I'm planning to make my good old standby "honey wheat".
    It's very gooder.

Bread has fueled civilizations for thousands of years. It the most basic and ancient of foods, yet not many individuals know how to produce it. Carbohydrates are a necessary macro nutrient. Can't beat homemade bread. I even make my own yeast, just flour and water makes yeast.

Well, Pete made me do this......
Waiting for the rise to finish. About to put into a couple loaf pans for another short rise before hitting the oven.

I wonder if any bread recipes made it to the cook book?

    Man, I'm slippin'.
I grabbed the wrong recipe, and didn't realize until I had most of the stuff in the bowl. Recipes are very similar, but this one isn't quite the same as my usual, and it didn't rise in the oven.
Looked real good when I put 'em in there. Flavor is similar, but more dense.
We'll (meaning me) eat these up before I make more......I'll grab the correct recipe next time.

Pete musta' got busy eatin' bread instead of posting pictures of it.
I'll spend the next few days wandering into the kitchen to get a slice of that, and slather some peanut butter on, or make a chicken sammich.

I only had one piece with PB, then a little while ago, I made that mayo, chicken, and lettuce sammich.
    Love home made bread.
That's either a small loaf, or a REALLY big bag.

Yep, I may go back for a PB&J in a bit.
Mine should last at least a couple days, since I made 2.
I really hate only making one, since the stove is already and and stuff. Same with pie. :thumbs:
