Yup, no vent, vaulted ceilings with 2 pendant lights and the empty space in the corner was a cabinet that was delivered the wrong size, it came as a 24 and needed to be a 21.
The best part of the day was when the counter top measuring guy came and shot the entire kitchen with a laser that marked out everything on a computer. I'm sure that technology cost a small fortune.

I just put my three year old son to bed for the night. Not before promising him we'd play with the stickers in his dinosaur sticker book tomorrow though.

The best things in life are in fact free.

You guys and gals, who have very young kids right now, are a lot of fun for this ole fella to read about. I miss those days a lot and I know there are many other grand dads on here who like hearing about all of it too...

A friend of mine has a granite countertop company. He uses this technology, as well as a CNC machine to cut the tops. It did cost a lot of $, but the roi is well worth it. No miss cuts. Those will kill a granite countertop company with wasted material.

Good morning, 1 degree and the coffee is on. Making ready for the workhouse.
My whining like a mule, yesterday, in ref: th the workhouse, has realigned the stars, somewhat. It seems they will bring a new Tech in to work 10 to 6 with me,,less than 2 years out of the schoolhouse and pregnant.... I'll take it!
You good people have a good day and be safe. Peace.

It's 65 in the house, my wife is away and it's hard to keep the fire going with my work schedule. I have to work today, but it's gonna be sunny, that should warm up the house. All you nice people have a great day!

-9 this morning and cloudy. Currently sitting by one of the stoves injecting caffeine into the rocket. Not sure what direction to go. Thought about going out to the antique snowmobile show but my arthritic loaded right knee is saying that might not be the smartest thing to do. Will clean up the driveway after all of the 1-2" snowfalls all week. Bright spot of the day is 76 hours of work left til pension time. Everybody have a good safe day.

I hear ya' on the knees.
I get the grand idea to head to the store, then once there, the knees have a different grand idea.....which involves pain and some weird movements inside the knee joints.
76 hours to go:dancer:.......I'm rootin' for ya'.

Had the left one replaced 3 years ago.............all great, no pain, no grief. Now...........the right one is loaded to the gunnels with arthritis and just knawing like a toothache. Doctor put me on Arthotec which worked for a while until it decided it wanted to rip my guts out. So yesterday I decided to try over the counter ADVIL and so far working good. Guts tolerating it and relief is quite noticeable.

Thanks guys now I don't feel so bad.
yooperdave I tell everyone that's having kids the same thing.
Gasifier I imagine in this sue happy world the Dr was a little nervous bout that one.
greendohn I catch my 6 year old with his hat sideways occasionally. I tell him if he can't wear it right he can't wear it at all. Now in my drinking days my hat would end up crooked by the time I got tuned in

Docs tried putting me on Naproxen, Alieve, and another one I can't remember, and those tore up my gut.
IBU works pretty well for me.
I've got some Voltaren Gel that I apply to the knees for a few days when they get bad, and that helps a lot.
I figure at some point, I might have "million dollar man" knees installed.
