The differential form of thermal conduction shows that the local heat flux density, is equal to the product of thermal conductivity, and the negative local temperature gradient, The heat flux density is the amount of energy that flows through a unit area per unit time.
    where (including the SI units)
[IMG] is the local heat flux density, W·m−2
[IMG] is the material's conductivity, W·m−1·K−1,
[IMG] is the temperature gradient, K·m−1.
The thermal conductivity, [IMG], is often treated as a constant, though this is not always true. While the thermal conductivity of a material generally varies with temperature, the variation can be small over a significant range of temperatures for some common materials. In anisotropic materials, the thermal conductivity typically varies with orientation; in this case [IMG] is represented by a second-order tensor. In non uniform materials, [IMG] varies with spatial location.
For many simple applications, Fourier's law is used in its one-dimensional form. In the x-direction,

fill in the blanks and you will have your answer.
and NO I am not overthinking it

My adult beverages froze. I had to bring them in from the garage to make them at least slushy before I could partake.

I don't think an 1100F is going to care much if the fuel is +70F or -20F… those pellets get plenty hot as soon as they hit the fire. I store mine on my open sided front porch and I've put -16F pellets in the hopper this week and I haven't frozen yet.
