Well, I already moved to a house in the trees....does that count?
It's on the ground though, if that matters.

Can't begin to think what the taxes would be on a place like that. Maine has miles and miles of coastline and islands. They tax the chit out of anyone living next to the water. Sad, when we drive along those streets next to the water, we see mostly out of state plates.

annual "ham and turkey" tourney, we hold it the saturday before thanksgiving 25 bucks to enter for that you get breakfast (we have a new chef at the club so im looking forward to seeing what he's got) a round of golf and either a ham or turkey as a prize. everyone who plays will leave with a ham or a turkey. captains choice tourney so its not "real golf' but its a lot of fun an great excuse to drink beer outdoors and you bring home the thanksgiving protein without having to go to the store (winner winner turkey dinner) :D my team will be me (obviously) my dad, andy mays from AMFM energy, and kip (a friend who i play with a lot) we look forward to stomping the daylights out of teh competition! though it may not happen that way.

its a ton of fun, the greenskeeper sets the course up just flat stupid hard but who cares. a bad day on the links is far better than a good day at work IMHO

If you want to build one I have about 50 wooden frame windows taken out of an 1880 home. I'll sell them to you and you can build your dream cabin

Much thanks, Swags. I am going for better insulated windows in a passive solar house. I had a glass room on my old house and that was a big lesson on construction in the winters.
