soo,,,,My sorry azz ended up on the couch after a huge sausage omelet!! My good wife made a run for the essentials and holy cow, it's after 2pm...shame on me,,,
That greedy hungry beast out back is probably grumblin' for some hardwoods and if I don't chunk some red oak and ash in his maw, he'll quit on me..snow is coming and I gotta start acting like an adult. Be safe..Peace.

Yes. Out from the ditch around 10:30 am. He went to town (better road conditions there) in hopes the highway would open again, no such luck. All of us (including dogs) are getting a little desperate for lil one to be home. I feel terrible, her grandma is taking a sick day tomorrow because she still has her.

He came home, jumped the battery in my truck (I havent drove it in awhile :emb:), closed off and reinforced the fence in the snow drift dog pen. He's out on the atv plowing now his garage door opening was drifted over.

Aftermath: How funny, first the lid blew off the hibachi, in this pic the entire base has blown away too.... DSCF1340.JPG

I always love the smell of 2 strokes. The wife loves that smell too.
Where in western Maine are you at? I lived in Bethel for a year after college (2000).

You be sure to save all of your pics so you can start an album of "Wild Times in Wild's West"... ;) Pics are impressive of the drifts.
If this is your first little bit of snow this year... I'd be puttin a used decent 4wd tractor w/bucket & cab on your "must get" list... :BrianK: Sometime that wall of snow might be like concrete when you gudda go. (As you kin prolly guess... I'm good at spendin' other folks $$... :D)

Glad your honey's back. Your lil one will be home before you know it... ;)
