A rust free bed brought up from the junk yards down south. They go for around $1500 around us.

You are painting a floor with Kilz? I thought they only made primer... For a floor you need epoxy reinforced floor enamel or it won't last long under foot traffic etc............

It's a real problem when you can do chains and mod / surf FHC at the same time....

It's a primer, used to cover/ keep new pets from marking on the floor. :) Yes, it's not meant for a top coat per say. It's meant to have something over it. Vinyl, wood, laminate, tile, carpet...

Got a few things done today but I kept getting drawn back to FHC to see what new was going on. Back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off.

My ride into work tonight is wet, raining hard here with 52 deg temps.
I ran the stove this morning and choked it down at around noontime and still had coals at 9:30 tonight with the house at 77. Yup, I was sweating

Changed the oil on both snowblowers the other day, just had to fill the new one with oil before I snowblowed the driveway. The new snow finally got me some action on the craigslist ad for the old simplicity blower I rebuilt the carb and recoil on. So a guy is coming over tomorrow at 7pm to buy it. It would be nice to sell it as it's just in the way since I got my new ariens last year.

Well, back to work today after 6 weeks off for surgery and vacation. Spent the day yesterday cleaning up the 8" of snow we got, and prepping for the artic blast coming. Only upside to this going back to work today is that the countdown is on-----11 shifts to go til' retirement time. Woo Hoo,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yes, for sure. 29 years is long enough. Its time for a change, and luckily I can do that on my terms.
I'm just happy that I was able to do my time in the "old style" side of things. I personally don't care for the "new" way of doing business. As my signature says...............

I can relate to what your saying, I'm at 26 yrs with 5 to go to get the age and max percentage. I used to love what I did and don't anymore, I'm staying right now for retirement reasons only.

Yes, 80% of the staff in my department can go within the next 5 years. NO ONE there now likes being there and, like yourself, are just riding it out for the same reasons. I'm sure as heck gonna miss my fellow workers (7) but as for the rest...................BYE..BYE.....................

Good morning, a cool 10 degrees with a forecast for 3-5 inches of snow tonight! Thinking I need to make a beer run,,or ,,um ,,,a supply run to stock up on much needed items, off work 'til Sat.
Thinking I should chase a truckload of far'wood but with the rain Fri/Sat. there is concern about the ground being too soft under foot and tire.
I guess a shower and getting dressed would be a good start but I'm liking the pace I have going so far,,I might as well roll with it!!
    Have a good day. Peace.

No worries, we are laying pergo on it, just wanted to seal out any pet odors left over from previous owners underneath.

He's fine, truck is fine, but not going anywhere without a chain. A guy from work is on the way.
