My username comes from a tool of the trade. I like it cause only people in the business identify with it. A Halligan Tool and the flat head axe….. the key's to the city. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm glad to see certain people from other forums that seemed to go MIA are posting over here.

No, I don't have any good connections in town. I moved here a year and half ago from R.I. and I haven't had the opportunity to meet the right people yet. I'm still cutting wood in my old stomping grounds.

You're not a real member until you show us a picture of your wood, welcome aboard, do you have any more pics of your rack with the roof? Looks like something I'm making.

Hey Halligan. Good to have you here. What do you burn in? How many square feet you trying to heat with wood?

Heres some pics of it. First (with kids on top) is at my old house just after I built it. Second is where it was located up until recent at my new house. Lastly is the new location on the gravel at my house. You'll notice I reversed it once it was on the gravel so the roof is higher now in front. It holds just over a cord. Someday I'll build a big one that holds 5+ cord but that will be down the road and probably at my next house.

Burning a Jotul 550 Rockland trying to heat way too many square feet. Basically I only heat my first floor off the wood stove. I'm still saving big money in propane even if I'm just heating the first floor with it.

In my old house I had an Oslo that did my whole 1800 sq.ft Cape. I miss those days.

Thanks. The front hitch is awesome for moving my splitter and trailer around the yard.
